Introduction to Nutrition

Healthful food puts us in touch with the source and seed of life, reconnects us to our daily traditions and gives us time to find clarity and peace.

Holistic food preparation is creating an understanding of the eco-systematic world of a meal and the essential role it plays in feeding the whole body and essence of an individual.

Over the years I have developed a wealth of knowledge surrounding the important issues of diet, nutrition and delicious food. I have received formal education in:

    • Nutrient dense living food diet, nutrition and preparation
    • Western/US Formal Nutrition
    • Ayervedic Diet System
    • Classical forms and cultural studies of the Culinary Arts
      • Classical French Cuisine
      • Latin American Cuisine
      • European Cuisine
      • Asian Cuisine

When we are very young our cells reproduce faster than they wear out. At middle age the cells are being replaced at the same rate that they are wearing out. Old age means that the cells are wearing out faster than they are being replaced. Because our systems are different, depending on our genealogy and life history, there is no set time for when these different stages may take place. This is why some people are over the hill at 35 and some are still vibrant and father babies at the age of 100! The process that determines when these changes take place is largely controlled and monitored by what you eat (and don't eat).

    • Learn simple ways of controlling nutrient loss and density in your food, while enjoying what you eat
    • Discover the "ABC's" of the elimination system, the #1 function of good health
    • Detoxify, cleanse and revitalize your body's system and your life
    • Create and implement easily integrated healthy eating habits
